Silverwood Convenience Store — Local services in Saskatoon

I don’t live in the area but if I did, I would visit this store all the time! They bake their own bread & other goodies, for a fair price. As pictured I got the cheese buns & cinnamon buns. The cheese bun went well with my pasta & the cinnamon bun made for a good dessert! I looked around the rest of the store & they had a decent stock on everything else you might expect to find, for a comparable price, which isn’t always the case with small locally owned convenience stores. They also had a pretty good selection of greeting cards, which I hadn’t expected.. but it did bring to mind similar stores I visited as a kid and in small towns. We've come here a few times every year when we go for drives along the Saskatchewan river. We usually purchase slush, scratchies, and munchies. This time, all of their slush machines were watery (no slush ready @6:30pm) so we opted for hard ice cream in a cup. We didn't realize until we got into the vehicle that both of our ice creams had freezer burn.

The Manager is very nice, they have a variety of goods which I like but some of the staff that are not Management like to overcharge their items and when Management is in their prices change to a lower amount. It has me questioned numerous times if I should keep on going. I really like to go to this store but I don't like different price changes, some low and high on same items that I purchased.
