Almost Heaven Wedding Cakes — Restaurant in Saskatoon

Brides...shake the dice on this lady if you want...but I wouldn’t. If you are wanting professionalism and someone who stands behind their work, this is not the person. Almost Heaven Wedding Cakes made a small cake and over 150 cupcakes for my daughter’s wedding recently. She did not decorate the cupcakes as discussed and written on the contract. Upon pickup, the error was pointed out but Inez denied there was an error. This error caused us distress as the cupcakes were part of an overall design and we had to scramble to change things as the cupcakes were too plain to use. They ended up relegated to the back table. Later, my daughter contacted Inez to point out the instructions on the contract. Her response has unprofessional and snarky. She unwilling offered a tiny compensation which was frankly insulting. I don’t want another couple to go through this type of negative experience on such an important day. People plan weddings for months and expect the people they hire to hold up their end of the bargain. When they don’t the results can be heartbreaking. Don’t want any nasty surprises or extra stress on your wedding day? Go with someone else - I suggest going to a well known, reputable, established company that is know to be committed to their customer‘s...

My husband and I decided to use Inez with Almost Heaven Wedding Cakes to make our cake for our beach/mermaid inspired wedding and WE ARE SO GLAD WE DID! She was friendly, professional, and amazing to work with as she provided what we asked for and beyond. Our cake ending up being one of our main attractions! The guests could not get over how magnificent it was. It was gorgeous. It was 4 tiers and each tier a different flavor. She traveled to us with the cake and set it up for us and when we walked in and seen it, it brought tears to both our eyes. Then it was time to cut the cake and the flavors were TO DIE FOR! I did not even have any cake left to take home (although I ate 4 pieces during the wedding )... it was gobbled up in a hurry by all my guests! We can not thank Inez enough for this amazing masterpiece she gave us on our wedding day. ...

My Husband and I recently got married this past October. We came across Inez's Facebook page and was automatically amazed with her skills of her cake work. You can tell she loves what she does and bakes with her whole heart. We would highly recommend anyone who needs a cake made for any special occasion to go to her. Our experience with Inez was exactly what we had pictured. We had showed her a picture as to what we wanted our cake and cupcakes to look like and she exceeded our expectations with flying colors. We chose two different types of flavors. One was carrot cake and the other was vanilla and chocolate in which all of them tasted absolutely delicious.
