Will make the trip to rosseau Market once if not twice a year. Seems to be the same vendors over and over again I guess for locals that's okay it be would nice if they could add a few more. One thing I don't understand is we can all appreciate backyard Farmers but when you have somebody like Anderson produce who from my understanding simply goes to the depot in Toronto picks up all fruits and vegetables and then opens up stands at markets is that really keeping within the spirit of a farmers market? I don't know about you but I'd rather help the little guy out. Make sure to spend some time taking beautiful pictures from the dock and walking in the water. I have found that there is a vendor who his wife does face painting and although she has amazing talent he tends to complain on social media about the weather. And how it affects his ability to attract customers which is sad because I'm pretty sure people don't go to a market thinking that they're going to get their face painted nor in the event planners control the weather so that's a little unfortunate because after wandering around year after year chatting with each of the vendors they all seem to only speak positively about it which is great. Make sure to get some of the sweet and salty popcorn when you're there as our understanding is you can even freeze it, although let's be real does it ever make it to the freezer? Don't bother trying to find parking along the main road as you're better to park up at the top of the hill and the little village...
Read moreAn absolutely beautiful and vibrant market in a stunning location. We went on the first day it opened for the summer, and it was a fantastic experience.
The setting is the real star—it's located right on the shores of Lake Rosseau, with spectacular views of the water, cottages, and boats. It's also right beside a nice public dock and beach, which adds to the wonderful atmosphere. The live music playing in the background really makes the whole place feel alive and enjoyable.
The market itself is excellent, with over 60 unique booths. We were very impressed with the high quality and wide variety of the vendors. There's something for everyone, from local farm produce and food producers to a large number of talented artisans selling everything from pottery and metalwork to jewelry.
A quick tip for visitors: it gets very busy, so it's a good idea to get there early. Parking can also be a bit of a challenge, so plan accordingly.
Overall, it's a must-visit experience in the Muskokas....
Read moreI drove to the new extended market to be here by one pm so I would have time to shop by closing time of 2. All the vendors were completely shut down and packed to go. When you say you are opened till 2, be open until 2. I passed by 59 supermarkets to get here. Wish I hadn't, and I certainly won't in the future. Even the township's stall was...
