The plaque was gone when I visited, it would be nice to see it someday. Reaching the site by car is reasonably easy, there is just the right space to park the car off the road in front of the site. Definitely can be reached by foot too. A simple spot to perhaps take a break and enjoy the view of the field just behind the monument, it is quite wide. On the downside, there is nothing else to do beyond appreciating its historical value. Until the plaque is back, I found it interesting to research the Beaver Wars and this battle more specifically prior to visiting the site. If somehow your main itinerary is to visit Cap-Saint-Jacques park, consider including this historical landmark for a quick stop!

I do hope they make this place into a Nature park or a make a sort of memorial instead of a plaque.
