I have been going there for years. Originally windsurfing and now Kiteboarding It is the perfect place in Montreal to learn as it is safe and shallow( the wind direction must be correct North West is perfect) I have to confess that this summer I was very disappointed with the condition of the facilities. The “changing room” had a huge hole in the ,floor and it,was downright dangerous to walk around as there were tree roots and sharp stones everywhere. My feeling was that ever since they started charging they stopped doing regular maintenance (except Picking up money from the machine LOL) So I wrote a letter to the mayor and was very impressed with an immediate response. I was also surprised to get a call from the person in charge of maintenance. Let us hope that they fix it up to its former...
Read moreVery nice place, by the lake of Two Mountains, shallow water (2or3 feet in the summer, or less) but this part of the park can be quite busy at times... But the park also includes both sides of chemin de l'Anse-à-l'Orme... That part of the park is very quiet with many trails to explore, and lots of wildlife including many deer🙂. As for the parking, many free places to park (along chemin de L'Anse à l'orme, for instance...) or a yearly pass only costs $55 per car and is good for all Montréal Nature Parks... Read moreBeautiful park that has finally seen some updgrades such as newly painted tables and cleaned up grass after the floods. The showers and changing rooms could still use repairs as well as the porta potty. Visitors, please respect park rules: no swimming allowed, especially when kiteboarders and windsurfers are present.
