We have only hiked to the falls once. It’s a pretty good hike. Wear shoes - not flip flops. It’s probably a longer hike than you think, so go prepared! We usually boat to the falls. There is a very strong current the closer you get. There are a couple of stakes in the rock that you can tie up your boat to in the south shore line. Definitely a must see place on the French River. The falls are actually located near Alban, not Killarney. If you’re heading there from the docks at the French River Supply Post, you’ll hang a tight and follow the channel under the snowmobile bridge. The river bends and the falls are to the left. Kayakers love the falls. It’s also a beautiful place to enjoy a French River sunset.

Very nice 30 minutes walk in the woods, the place was not busy, make sure to wear decent shoes because some rocks were slippery and there was a bit of mud, but overall this is what made the experience really enjoyable! Don’t forget to check out the bridge behind the visitor center

Great hike but wear decent shoes - this isn't a trail for flip-flops. Bring a light picnic or snack to have on the rocks above the falls at the end of the trail

Stunning views. Beautiful spot for fishing. Rock formation near falls allows for sitting very close to the water nice for meditation or having a snack or both. 1.4km hike on a very challenging trail. Hiking boots are highly recommended. My trail running shoes were almost too soft for the terrain and twisted around my feet when in the roots and rocks. No washrooms out there at the falls. Only at...
