We had 4 people over 60 and wondered about the moderate rating. Plus We went after some rain. I took a hiking pole, I was glad I did for several of the rocky spots going down. That or a steady arm from a more nimble person is good. But there’s no fearful, worried for my safety spots. Your walking on the big rocks often covered with roots that actually help your footing. Read moreRecollect Falls. Is a very nice day trip area. Around a 1/2 hr to 45 minutes to get to the falls from the parking lot, I'm 60 if that helps gauge your speed. We fished for a few hours and caught small mouth bass. The trail is well marked, there are roots to watch for but you are in northern Ontario.
