Bolender Park is the place to be for young children and their families in Elmira during the summer! The new splash pad and playground are AMAZING! Kids can splash around in the cold water then heat back up by running around at the newly renovated playground. We have been here a few times this summer. It is a well maintained place with lots to do. A creek to catch those crayfish in, space to play kick/toss around a ball, picnic area space with trees for shade. The playground has a spot for all ages including a cool zipline for the older kids. Best park around. Went here on a rainy day and nobody was around. Lots of space for picnics. Awesome comfort stations. Best splash pad with multiple setups to keep the kiddos and others cool.
