What’s great about this museum is how accessible it is. Admission is completely free, which is rare for something this high-quality.

Even if you’re not an aviation enthusiast, I think anyone would enjoy wandering through the exhibits. The museum does a great job of explaining the evolution of flight, and you really get a sense of how far technology has come. It’s the kind of place where you lose track of time because there’s so much to see.

If you’re in Santiago and looking for something unique to do, this museum is an absolute must. Whether you’re with family, friends, or just exploring on your own, it’s an experience that leaves you inspired and in awe of what humans have achieved...

Absolutely fantastic museum with numerous rare antique aircraft. They have a WW1 SE-5A and Avro 504 that appear to be original rather than replicas. Apparently the British gave a number of these to Chile as they disarmed at the end of the war. Also there are various WW2 era aircraft including a P-47 Thunderbolt. The F-86 Sabre also deserves to be mentioned. Sadly, they don't have enough hangar space to store all of the aircraft under cover so some are becoming visibly weathered. The older fabric covered airframes are inside, but the three Dakotas as well as the jets are out under the intense Santiago sun and winter rain and looking a bit careworn. Entry to the museum is free. We had no problem...

Me pareció un sitio sumamente interesante, encantador y fascinante, me alegra mucho que su entrada sea gratuita, así gente de todo tipo lo puede disfrutar además de estar abierto toda la semana.

En este sitio podrás conocer la historia de la aviación y del concepto de volar en la humanidad, a nivel global y también nacional, podrán verse aeronaves restauradas, aviones a escala, múltiples cuartos y salas donde se podrá aprender de ellas y un recorrido sumamente entretenido.

Algo que me encanta del lugar es que empiezas desde afuera viendo un montón de naves impresionantes a la par que aprendes de ellas, al ingresar te dan la bienvenida de manera sumamente educada y amable, tienen el recorrido definido en todo el museo, flechas y letreros en los que te van indicando por dónde empezar, así te llevas el recorrido en orden y de manera más apaciguada.

Me gusta mucho que inicien hasta con lo más básico, al inicio verás a los animales que inspiraron el volar, el inicio del mismo concepto, desde la prehistoria hasta nuestros tiempos, luego pasas a la edad media, clásica y contemporánea con los inventos de los humanos, luego a la historia nacional de la aviación en Chile, luego a la historia militar y de la segunda guerra mundial, incluso del espacio exterior.

Al final puedes ver también como es una cabina de operaciones de aviación, subirte a varias de estas naves y también gozar de algo de aire libre.

Por el momento no tengo quejas sobre el lugar, el exterior es muy bueno, los baños impecables, una zona para niños bastante buena y un buen lugar para divertirse, incluso durante mi visita vi a muchos niños entretenidos.
