Review about Sendero Michinmahuida. One star because of not being able to complete the sendero.

After 6 km walking only through rainforest, we had to turn around, unfortunately. The trail was flooded and we could not get through with our ankle high hiking boots. I would advise to not do the hike after a couple of days of continuus rain, or to bring knee high boots. Also we encountered a lot of fallen trees on the trail, so keep in mind that ducking and...

Excelente trekking a ventisquero. Idealmente ir un día con buenas condiciones climáticas, ya que durante nuestra excursión llovió muchísimo con viento fuerte y frío. Se recomienda llevar antiparras o lentes de sol por la arena que se levanta. Son 10 KM desde Parque Pumalín. Se ingresa en vehículo desde la entrada del parque hasta camping grande, ahí emprendes caminata en subida por ripio hasta el sendero ubicado en camping ventisquero (este último se encuentra...

Lovely mixed but longer walk, especially if walking from the Camp Grande, which adds an extra 5km to the return journey. There's a bit of mud but nothing deeper than ankle height and a short secretaries through the forest undergrowth for a 500m section. But it's all worth it.

Great hike but after 5 or 6 km Don't expect to be drinking from the river. It's filthy and it clogged my water.filter immediately.
