We had a fantastic rafting day trip from Santiago with my wife and 12 year old daughter! Wish we could of rafted longer or done it again! Santiago was an awesome guide, spoke english, and knew how to manage the boat and our novice “crew” of tourists through the rapids! They provided wet suits, water shoes, life jackets, paddling jacket, and helmets, He and the company of kayaks made sure we stayed safe while having a fun time! Our rafting expert Felipe was excellent. Felipe looked after us, prepared us very quickly, with all commands made and obeyed within the calmer waters at the start. Then, we knew what we were listening for when he needed us to go forward or back or stop. Had a great afternoon on the river rafting with Claudio and the Ruta Vertical team! Very good clean and well maintained equipment and instructions in both English and Spanish. Lockers and change facilities were provided for everyone before jumping in the van to the drop in location. We had class 3&4 rapids today.
