The Grey glacier is one at the top of the most beautiful sites that one can visit. It is my personal favorite. The views of it from Jhon Gardner pass, campamento pass, and through the way to Grey campsite are spectacular, the designated lookout is also a great spot. It is worthy to visit the old campsite, to get to the lake and see the small ice pieces floating in the water. The views from the lower edge of Lago Grey are also majestic, but If one gets there, the views from above are not to be missed, at list one has to get to the bridge if coming...

Sin duda es un lugar que estará en mis recuerdos toda mi vida. No tuve la oportunidad de ir por los senderos hasta el mirador donde está el glaciar pero tomé la embarcación Grey III que pertenece al hotel Lago Grey. Llegas al hotel y allí buscas en la recepción el stand donde venden los boletos. Tienen diferentes horarios durante el día y el recorrido dura aproximadamente 2horas. No es nada barato, cuesta 80mil pesos el paseo. En la embarcación te dan una bebida. Luego de la parada del hotel avanzas como 1km y allí está el inicio del sendero, hay un restaurante y un lugar donde venden snack. Hay baños y estacionamiento. Allí dejas el auto, te abastece de lo necesario y empiezas a caminar para llegar a donde inicia el recorrido la embarcación. Es media hora caminando. Llegas al borde del lago y allí te espera la embarcación. El recorrido es sumamente espectacular, no hay momento que no disfrutes de la naturaleza y esa imagen frente a ti del glaciar, las montañas realmente te conectan con la naturaleza. Hace mucho pero mucho frío y el viento es muy fuerte. La embarcación hace detenciones frente al glaciar para las fotos. Dentro de la embarcación hay asientos de buena calidad junto con mesas para cada grupo. Llevan su comida y la pasan muy bien.
