Easily spend 1 day here, was recommended to enter via Western gate as crowds not as big as southern gate. Celebrity panda easily accesed from southern gate and have to line up to see this one. So cool to see so many pandas in one location. Great write up on each panda, their age, parents and something about their temperament or behaviour. Lots of walking but worth it in seeing these beautiful animals. Well worth a visit to this sanctuary if you are in...

If you wanna see active baby pandas as many as you can, better to go there in early morning (before 9). Pandas will have breakfast in the morning than they will take a nap until lunch time.

Don’t buy any souvenirs when you just arrive the station. Hawkers who near the main entrance will offer lower price. Most of them are cheaper than 10bucks. (I bought a little panda clip for 20bucks and later I found some hawkers were...

This is within the Chengdu city. Please visit Huahua at location number 6. You will come across it first if you are coming from the South Gate.

There are also quite a lot of food options within the research park. There is a lot of walking (20k steps) within the huge park. If you can’t walk much, there is also a buggy to drive you around but it will cost extra and some time to queue depending on the...
