Choi Yuen Plaza — Local services in Hong Kong

A little bit out of the main town centre. Just go the opposite direction to the town centre on a padestrianise bridge. Here you can still have the usual multiples and mix of smaller outfits. The place is very much up to date, very clean too. Have not visited since June 16, a few tiny outfits have gone like the locksmith which is a shame. A small Plaza taken over by the Link Realty Management from the Housing Department years ago. Rearranged, renovated and has now given residents in the old Choi Yuen Estate a better place to shop. It is near the Sheung Shui East Rail Station, just a few minutes walk. Restaurants and cafés offer you places to take a rest. Generally clean and pleasant to walk...

This mall is an average Sheung Shui mall, not as high end as Landmark but about the same as the rest. The most notable things however: theres a bathroom by Mc Donalds, two good grocery stores on the ground floor, a good Korean bbq on one of the upper floors and a good restaurant called Cable Car which is currently under construction, but come back later...
