Absolutely stunning view at a cost of a few hours, sweat and tears. My photos were of it at night and the helipad made a very luxurious picnic spot. Went on Sunday afternoon and arrived in the evening. Highly recommend to anyone intending to come up to bring flashlights (if evening) multiple bottles of water (there was minimal airflow in many parts of our hike both up and down with different routes on both directions), and definitely GLOVES and LONG PANTS. I made that mistake and ended with a ton of light cuts all around my arms and hands trying to steady myself whilst climbing up some damp dirt/rocky paths and either of the above mentioned oopsies would have saved me from explaining why I had a million small abrasions on my...
Read moreGorgeous mountain top to overlook the city from the east, comparable to the view from Lion Rock which view the city from center. Easier than Lion Rock too. Wonderful top to enjoy sunset of the city. Three trails to access the top. Easiest one is the west staircase trail connected with Fei Ngo Shan Road, which takes merely an hour or less to the top. The south trail is famously steep and difficult, but the most direct way. There is rope set up by great fellow walkers to help hike up the first part along the brook, maybe inaccessible in rainy season (but I saw a man walked the dogs via that).
