深圳湾口岸 — Local services in Shenzhen

Booked a taxi online to pick us up from HKIA direct to Shenzhen bay border for crossing into Shenzhen. Was very convenient and customs crossing was smooth despite the big crowd. Once crossed the customs, things got a little messy as the signal near the main building is very weak, probably due to the high traffic, so do consider getting out in the open to get better signal for your phone to work. Getting to the DiDi pickup point was a short walk. Human and vehicle traffic at the berths are aplenty and be sure to watch out for both traffic. Overall, was relatively convenient, just a little too crowded...

The same as other borders, clean, spacious and with enough officials / staff in case you need help. A bit of the waste about the large big shopping mall next to it. People crossing the border must have a target to go and unlikely hang around in the shopping centre next to the border. The centre is well built & established. If you can afford another 2 hours, stop and visit...

This is the fast and shortest way to back to Shenzhen in western part of Hong Kong, especially in Tuen Mun. lt just take 2 minutes to Shenzhen Bay port area.
