Iconic bayfront spot with the best views and vibes Happy Harbour is one of my favorite spots in Shenzhen! It’s home to the Glory Ferris Wheel, which has quickly become an icon of the city. Whether you ride it or just admire it from below, it adds such a striking visual against the skyline — especially stunning at sunset or when it lights up at night.
The whole area is beautifully developed, with a modern mall filled with great dining options, cafes, and shopping — perfect for taking a break or spending a relaxed afternoon. But what really stands out is the open green space by the bay — it’s so well-manicured and spacious, ideal for walking, jogging, or simply sitting and enjoying the sea breeze.

It was also drawing a huge photo taking crowd there who didn’t really care about the books. However there were great establishments by the seaside, the whole area was very pleasant to walk and particularly beautiful and photogenic at night. Nice sea breezes as well. We also found a very nice and cheap restaurant for picked veggie fish, so overall it was a great experience there. A bit out of the way in west Shenzhen and recommend calling a can...
