Do not order food or drink before getting a price. There are a few dubious guys working the beach who say they will "take care of you" which means bring food from somewhere, then tell you it costs a crazy price. I'd say skip eating there all together and actually the water was far better jumping off a boat we rented so if you are a snorkler that may be the best way to see the archipelago and avoid the scams.
the fruit and jewelry vendors i don't mind...but don't make it seem like you work for a restaurant and bring food (not even edible) and then try to charge crazy prices. this island also was pretty dirty with trash, at least the public beach where boats drop big groupdls...
Read moreThe waters are so clear, clean and warm! The island is very calm and peaceful and much fewer tourists than the islands closer to Cartagena. The food is very delicious and the people are very kind. I highly recommend going to the island if you enjoy spending time at the beach either on your own...
Read morePara llegar a esta isla debes tomar un barco en el puerto turístico de Tolu/Coveñas el costo depende de la temporada puede varíar desde los 70 hasta los 100/120 mil pesos. El viaje dura más o menos 40(50 minutos depende del mar. Primera parada isla Palma el barco cruza tambien para santa cruz y las casas en el agua al final Tintipan. La isla ofrece por un lado cabañas en arriendo por otro lado una playa publica. La playa siempre está llena de gente talvez muy ruidosa, la playa no me gustó la "arena" no parece arena parece más piedra molida súper fina, el agua se queda manchada blanca, normalmente con la arena de playa eso no debe pasar. Se puede almorzar con precios bastante bajos desde los 25 mil pesos hasta los 100. Depende de lo que quieres comer. Al final no fué la buena...
