Magical place. Straight connection to nature. From Santa Marta at the central market take a 1-hour bus to Minca. The price of the ticket is COL 8,000. Once at Minca you will find several options to spend one or some nights around the area. It's worth doing some homework about that. The route to Pozo Azul is clearly marked (or just ask. People are very helpful). Enjoy the hike from where the bus leaves you to Pozo Azul. If you speed it up, it's a 30 minutes hike, but I suggest taking your time as the view you get on your way are breathtaking. There are motorcycle rides available for a fee. Keep in mind the last bus back to Santa Marta leaves at 5:30 pm. Enjoy Pozo Azul, connect with it, and protect it by keeping the place...

Pozo azul is a lovely, natural and stunning place where you can find and connect with nature. This place is nearby Minca which is 10 minutes on motorcycle , also you can get there by walking but it takes 30 minutes from Minca. There is a small restaurant where you can find typical food. There are amazing views of the landscape and small waterfalls with natural pools of fresh and clean water. It is recommended to visit by using closed shoes due to the wet jungle (depending on the season). Take your swim suit and bugs repellent. I'm sure you'll enjoy this place. The weather is fresh. If you are in Santa Marta, you need to take a bus in "El mercado" it costs $8000cop and takes 45 minutes to arrive. Transminca is the ...

Nice place, very cold water and full of people. Some dogs are keeping company which was nice. We had one following us from the start of the trail he wanted to be our tour guide . Loved it 🥰 don’t expect a big waterfall but it’s still a nice place to cool off. The hike to it is also pleasant and not too hard unless is very very hot. The water was clean and transparent when I was there but after a while sitting in the water I got stung but tons of something. In a few hours my butt was swollen with millions of bites and I needed a cream to heal so be careful. I have new there a few years ago and there is no entrance fee. I think some people are trying to earn some money but in a...

Agua fría para refrescarse, un lugar espectacular, siempre hay guías hasta las 4 pm, tener cuidado en algunos pozos, seguir indicaciones de los guías

Beautiful place. You need to access the walking track before Google tells you to stop as the location isn’t correct. There’s a few buildings on the left about 2 km before where you can park outside for 5 thousand pesos or on the road for free. Gets crowded and noisy but you have the option to escape the crowds and take the small track to the left of the main waterfalls where you will find another and again if that’s not quiet enough keep going the the river that feeds the falls and there are natural swimming pools and tranquility a rare thing in Colombia!
