I recently had the most enchanting two-night stay at Skyline Eco Living in Santa Elena, Colombia, and it was an absolute dream come true! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the beauty and serenity of this hidden gem in the mountains.

First and foremost, the view from my cabin was simply breathtaking. Nestled high above the clouds, I was treated to panoramic vistas. Sunset from my private balcony was truly mesmerizing and made me feel like I was in a fairytale.

One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary yoga lesson on the open-air sky deck. Practicing yoga while surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature was an unforgettable experience. It provided the perfect opportunity to connect with my inner self and find peace in the midst of nature's beauty. I recommend indulging in an in-cabin massage. It was the perfect way to unwind and relax. The skilled masseuse worked magic on my sore muscles, leaving me feeling rejuvenated.

The in-cabin floating fireplace was a unique touch that added both charm and warmth to the ambiance. What made it even better was the attentive staff, who took care of it daily. Speaking of the staff, they were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable, making sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my time at Skyline Eco Living.

The cabin itself was equipped with everything I needed to prepare meals, which was a wonderful convenience. The kitchen had all the basics, such as salt, pepper, sugar, oil, butter, coffee, tea, and even potable water for drinking. It allowed me to enjoy home-cooked meals while savoring the stunning views. The essentials for a basic breakfast were also provided daily including fruit, eggs, arepas, juice, and yogurt.

In conclusion, my stay at Skyline Eco Living was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that exceeded all my expectations. I can't wait to return! I highly recommend booking your transport through the reception their driver Sergio will be on time and deliver you to the mountains with ease. It would be very difficult to find the way on your own or with a driver who has never been to this isolated location. *One last thing to note- if you work remotely the...

I had a very disappointing experience with Skyline Ecoliving. On the day of my reservation (made at 5 p.m. that same day, and it wasn't peak season or a special date), I tried to get to the glamping site but found the road was closed, AND THEY KNEW IT WAS CLOSED. They had assured me that if I said I was going to the glamping, they would let me pass, but that wasn't the case. After being stuck in the rain for half an hour, they told me there was another route to get there… too late. Additionally, they claim that 'I didn't want to take the route' that they mentioned half an hour after I was stuck at a stop-and-go in the rain.

The most frustrating thing is that I tried to resolve it amicably: I didn't even immediately ask for a refund. I proposed rescheduling the experience for another day, but the team was completely closed off to any solution. They even told me later that I had taken the wrong route, when in reality they never indicated that I should go up a specific way, nor that there was an option without restrictions. The most logical route for anyone coming from El Poblado is Las Palmas.

APART FROM THAT, THEY SAY THEY ARE WILLING TO NEGOTIATE, AND THEY HAVE ONLY LEFT ME ON 'SEEN' AND BLOCKED ME ON SOCIAL MEDIA.

It wasn’t something that got out of their gansa because they knew it was closed.

The person managing the stop-and-go clearly told us that the road was unlikely to open for a long time. How do they expect someone who went all the way up to Santa Elena, got soaked for half an hour, and couldn't pass, to go back without a minimal solution or refund? In summary: poor communication, zero willingness to find a solution, and customer service that leaves much to be desired. I would not book with them again nor would I...

I had an amazing stay at Skyline Ecoliving Santa Elena in Medellín!

The accommodation is simply fantastic; the wooden cabin, fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom, hot tub and hammocks, among other amenities, made my stay incredibly comfortable. The fact that they offer WiFi and delicious meals is a big plus; you don't even have to leave this wonderful place!

The magnificent view of the mountains and the city of Medellín is surreal and unforgettable, especially waking up in the clouds each morning. The absolute highlight of my day was unwinding in the hot tub while soaking in the breathtaking scenery.

The location is perfect for nature lovers, with ample opportunities for hiking in the beautiful surroundings. Also, the proximity to different parks was very convenient.

I was lucky to meet the owner Rein, his commitment to sustainability and eco-living added an inspiring dimension to my stay. His dedication and passion to create this stunning place were evident in every detail.

Furthermore, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel genuinely welcome, even though I'm still working on my Spanish.

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during my trip. Highly...

I love Medellín and it is probably my favourite city in Latin America. It is not my first time visiting the city but it was my fist time staying a little bit outside of town. I was skeptic before I arrived regarding the location: BUT: Skyline is absolutely gorgeous. For me it was perfect to stay a little outside because the city makes you tired somehow and at Skyline you immediately find peace and calmness and you get so much energy from that place. The view is amazing during day but fascinating at night. Many details in the room are very thoughtfully selected and placed. And the service and response from every employee was amazing and quick. You get the Colombian Charme with a European organisation which is a perfect combination for me. Even though there is not much around or close by there is also a restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner right beside the hotel. Yes you need 45 min to town and you carefully plan your time but staying at skyline is every second of travelling worthwhile and makes the Medellin experience even more special!
