This is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Ugljan. In the foreground, it is intended for children, with a shallow sandy bottom. Also across the beach is the small island "Školjić", which you can reach on foot across the sea. On that islet there is a monastery of St. Pavla, which is also a museum(you can only enter with clothes on). Also on the Jazu beach there are several coffee shops and a couple of pastry shops that have reasonable prices for coffee, ice cream, etc. The biggest problem of this beach is that there are very few parking spaces. So if you are carrying a lot of things with you to the beach, come as early as possible. There are also free parking spaces 2 to 3 minutes from the...
Read more🇬🇧 A wonderful beach on the Island of Ugljan, not far from the ferry port of Preko (some 20 minutes on foot). I personally like it very much. Near, there is a small islet of Galovac where one can swim. The beach has a sandy bed and features all necessary facilities.
Cement beach with sand inside. Be careful, the railing you use to hold onto when going down the stairs needs to be redone because it's moving and will soon give way. It's noisy when it's busy, but well-maintained. The ice cream parlor is right next door. There are playgrounds for children on the other side. Be careful with children, it's not a sandy beach, but rather a mud beach. The white slabs were replaced a few years ago. Too bad, they're slippery (and it looks dirty with all the traffic). Natural stone would have been preferable, like the beach in Poljana (the one at the end next to the church). There aren't enough sun loungers on the cement beach side. The wall has been repainted. There are still showers, but no changing rooms like there were before the slippery steps and the railing. Safety is important for the...
