Gedser isn’t a great metropolitan city, but instead a small port village where you’d most likely find yourself taking the ferry to Rostock. As expected, on a Saturday you will find all locals crowding in the bars and taverns. As recommended by a local, we went to eat at “Havnekroen” expecting Gedser’s best culinary experience. And surely, we found it. Here you find a lovely lady serving “smørrebrø” and hamburgers. Everything comes with Pommes.
