-Even men with extremely short hair need to wear a bathing cap, which is ridiculous considering some men had longer beards than head hair, and a lot of people with long hair didn't tuck it in properly. -There are no sunbeds or any other ways of lying down, not even a lawn! There are just a few random, uncomfortable benches that no one used. You were just supposed to be in the water or wander around aimlessly? I was prepared to spend a whole afternoon there, but how are you supposed to do that. All the belongings had to be put in lockers, but guarded by someone, like a coat check. So most people didn't even bring their towels inside. -You can't wear sunscreen because the water will have a reaction with your skin (it turns orange). -There was no wifi and I didn't have reception to call a cab. -The phone number for them that is on Google doesn't work. -The showers were turned on all the time, but at least it was hot water. They looked absolutely atrocious, though. +I found it cool that you could go to the nearby creek, but you can do that literally anywhere else. The current was too strong to swim in it, though. +The adult pool itself was nice, very hot water and almost scaldingly hot water coming from below. -When I went there, it was overcrowded, mostly with children. You could barely use the adult pool because so many people were there. You couldn't sit anywhere in the pool, so the people were gathering on the stairs, effectively blocking the entrance and exit. No staff member ever said anything about not lurking on the stairs, specifically. -But the staff scolded a woman whose only crime was sitting on the stairs and splashing some water on her legs. The staff member told her that she shouldn't be washing herself there, that's what the showers were for (?!). But she didn't say anything when a kid entered...
Read more4 dollars per adult but worth about negative 20 dollars. Good stuff first. Excellent location and views and really cool addition to have river swimming access and natural sulfer water pools. That's about it. The changing rooms could literally be in a horror film and I'm not exaggerating. The showers were gross. The worst part is that there's ONLY ONE hot pool of water so everyone crowds into it like japanese snow monkeys despite the covid risks. So you spend most of your time waiting for old fat guys to leave that pool while shivering in the wind. If you do finally get a chance to use the pool, it's awesome!! Hot enough to cook an egg and the water seems to boil up naturally from rocks at the bottom of the pool. Anyway, better pay 20 for a private spa on the West side of town. Luxurious and several pools, includes a turco (steam room) and sauna and nice fresh robe and an amazing restaurant attached. Downside is no natural sulfer pool or river attached. Anyway, skip this place unless you're on a...
Read moreWe went there around 7pm, so an hour before closing and it was perfect as there were only a few locals enjoying their baths. As others have said, it costs $3 per adult and swim caps are required. Swim caps now cost $1, so I recommend buying one in town where they are cheaper. Towels can only be rented during the day so if you come at night, make sure to bring your own towels as buying one costs $8. Changing rooms and warm showers are available. The staff will give you blue bins to put your belongings into which are stored in a secure location. You are then given a wristband with the number of your bin on it, so make sure to put that around your wrist or store it somewhere safe during your stay. Make sure to rinse off in the showers before getting into the pools. There is only one hot pool, the others are lukewarm or cold, but the variety still felt nice! There are no seats in the pools, so you have to stand in them. Overall, the experience was fantastic and...
