Ahlein Premium Lounge at Cairo International Airport, Terminal 2 (Ground Floor, Post-Duty-Free)
I visited this lounge at Cairo International Airport, On January 6, 2025, at 10 PM, and my overall experience was pleasant. Here’s my detailed review:
Service:
The service was exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive, and professional. A special mention goes to Khalid I guess his name, who served me with great care and ensured my needs were met promptly. Additionally, the gentleman at the reception was very welcoming and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and efficient.
Atmosphere:
The lounge atmosphere was fine, though not the most luxurious. It was comfortable enough for a short stay, but it lacked the premium feel you might expect from similar lounges.
Food:
The food selection was limited. While what was available was fresh and well-prepared, the variety could be improved to better cater to different tastes and needs.
Amenities:
The amenities were basic, with only a few offerings to keep passengers comfortable. Expanding the range of facilities would greatly enhance the overall experience for travelers.
Conclusion
Despite the limitations in food and amenities, the outstanding service provided by the staff made my visit worthwhile. This lounge is a decent option for travelers seeking a quick and comfortable break before their flight, but it could use some improvements in ambiance and offerings.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (3.5/5) Would recommend for short stays, especially if you value...

Read moreThe font desk was unattended. Then had to go around to request food staff to check me in. The design of the lounge is great. Near interiors and well spaced seating arrangement with power plug at each seats. There are five sections 1. dining area seating, 2. individual sofa seating 3. Small meeting room with coffee table seating 4. Relax semi sleeping seating to stretch 5. Smoking room seating. So the seatings are commendable and it was fairly filled on a mid day as this lounge serves multiple airlines like Qatar airways, Etihad, British Airways etc including priority pass members. So its no surprise it gets filled up fast. It’s a non alcoholic lounge just to mention. The food was nice and appreciated the cold sandwiches. The hot food didn’t had label so had to ask them to identify them. Overall a typical lounge experience no downer. Room for improvement is food safety as ppl were coughing at that area so a closed type or asking ppl to wear mask at counter. Secondly the absence of staff may be it’s a soft change and food could be labels. Nothing major. Well maintained...
