Their beer selection has improved a lot in 2025 as they have added more diversity. The quality of beers has improved too. The Märzen and the Nelson hazy are two recent highlights. But. They really need to figure out how to efficiently serve customers. There is no organization about how customers can line up to order food. Is there one ordering line or two? (anyone who has been to Coolgead knows what I am talking about). This needs to be improved. The rate of ordering can be really slow leading to long lines. This is because the food menu is not posted on the main board, but on some laminated paper randomly located on the bar. I have seen lines out the front door because people take 10 minutes to order and customers pile up (which compounds problem 1 above). I know Coolhead loses money because people don't want to deal with the lines and just walk out ir do not order more than once. Staff should be able to "pass over" customers who are not yet ready to order and need to look at the menu more. This happens is many bars and it allows patrons to figure out what they want while the line...
Read moreStill in the building phase, but STILL cozy already. Even If the future brewery and current taproom is located in the middle of nowhere, it is not too hard to access, but oh god, such beautiful surroundings this ex greenhouse has! There is a plenty of space inside and at the two terraces around the building. Enough beer options on tap (coolhead), a couple of fridges with some other stuff, pizza pop-up, which is extremely efficient (we got our pizza like 5-6 minutes after ordering it, crazy!). Can't say it's my favorite type of dough for pizza they use (sourdough), but it works, it is not super heavy as well. Would wish to have a bit more pizza options, but those available are quite fine too. Definitely a place to come back to, even for not a big fan of Coolhead beers like me, but at least to enjoy the atmosphere and awesome arboretum nearby, as well as some countryside vibes that make you feel like you are not in the...
Read moreThe chicken bbq skewers are really good. The beef bbq skewers are dry and the pork bbq skewers are good, you just need to add a bit of salt. The veg and potatoes are decent just would be nice if you could have corn on the cob instead of one of them. The service is alright just a strange policy of bar service charge. It would be nice if the crunchy powder is explained to you what it is, the pizza looks great but I still need to try it some time. This place is close to a 4 starswhat could bump it up is a deep cleaning for some of the furniture as there is too many flies on some due to beer and sour spillage. And a fattier cut of beef being used for the skewers. Maybe add an automatic door from the grill area as it is hard to open the door with 2 trays in your hands. Overall pretty hipster but it has a...
