As an avid traveler who has had the opportunity to explore numerous airports across the globe, I can confidently assert that my recent experience at this particular airport has left an indelible impression on me. With a discerning eye honed by my frequent journeys, I can unequivocally affirm that this airport stands among the crème de la crème of its kind.
From the moment I stepped foot within its well-designed confines, I was greeted by an atmosphere of impeccable cleanliness and modernity that immediately set it apart. This attention to detail in maintaining pristine surroundings reflects a commitment to providing travelers with an environment that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also conducive to comfort and relaxation.
Moreover, the warmth and hospitality exuded by the staff members were truly remarkable. Their genuine friendliness resonated with me, enhancing the overall travel experience. It's no exaggeration to say that their approachability and assistance contributed significantly to the sense of ease and contentment I felt throughout my time at the airport.
Navigating the intricacies of airport transit can often prove to be a challenging task, yet this airport has masterfully addressed this concern. The seamless and efficient transit options available for arriving and departing passengers demonstrate a thoughtful consideration for the convenience of travelers. The hassle-free experience of transitioning in and out of the airport undoubtedly adds a layer of convenience that seasoned travelers like myself greatly appreciate.
One distinctive aspect that immediately caught my attention was the airport's strategic emphasis on maintaining a balanced flow of passengers. Unlike the bustling congestion often associated with major international airports, this establishment managed to strike a harmonious balance between functionality and occupancy. This factor undoubtedly contributed to a more serene and relaxed atmosphere, allowing travelers to traverse the airport with ease.
When it comes to sustenance, the variety of dining options available is nothing short of impressive. From local culinary delights to international cuisines, the airport's diverse array of dining establishments cater to a wide range of tastes and preferences. This culinary diversity ensures that travelers are not only well-nourished but also treated to a culinary adventure that mirrors the spirit of exploration inherent in travel itself.
Lastly, the airport's commitment to inclusivity and global accessibility is evident through its comprehensive signage system, presented in multiple languages. This thoughtful touch serves as a beacon of guidance for travelers from all corners of the world, eliminating language barriers and streamlining the navigation process. Such considerate measures undoubtedly contribute to the overall positive experience of traversing this airport.
In conclusion, having traversed my fair share of airports over the years, I can unequivocally proclaim that my encounter with this particular airport has set a new standard for excellence. Its commitment to cleanliness, modernity, hospitality, efficient transit, manageable occupancy, culinary diversity, and inclusive navigation resources collectively make it a shining gem in the realm of international airports. My travels have exposed me to a spectrum of airport experiences, yet none have left as lasting an impression as this exceptional...
Read moreI typically leave great reviews but unfortunately... Everyone smiles but seems cold and pretentious. One steward, an older blonde Finnish lady, working in 1st class, was rude, treated me like garbage as I hauled my luggage through the tiny walkway to economy. Just because I save money and travel cheaper doesn't mean I'm trash. Just rude and pretentious as previously noted, she needs to retire or find another job. Place looks nice upon arrival, but was stuck here 20 hours due to layover, so I had more time for a closer look. Upon further inspection bathrooms were nasty, lots of repairs need to be made. They don't give out paper towels (I understand going green but they make everyone use the same hand towels for drying 🤢!?) Paid for a lounge but then couldn't even enter for 14 hours. Looks nice to the naked eye, but most things like a bidet or simple light switch for reading lamps don't work, maybe they're for show like movie props? Lots of repairs need to be made. All food was disgusting besides Burger King which was just ok (probably because Burger King doesn't care about their own reputation in America so they make up for it in other countries.) There were actually 2 smoking room areas, but not a lighter or match to be found anywhere for sale, you just have to embarrassingly pester other travelers or staff who may or may not have a light. New Delhi, India airport received 5⭐ from me, which offers wall lighters where you push a button on wall device and light a cigarette, and their bidets work. Why don't any sodas here have any carbonation? They're ALL flat but they call it fizzy water?? No fiz. EVERYTHING CLOSES WITHIN the AIRPORT AROUND 6PM!!! Nearly every shop and restaurant just closed. Just had to sit quietly for 12 hours until my lounge entry opened up! Night Guards walk around in gangs talking and laughing instead of separately guarding, which I found odd and uncomfortable. Daytime guards were nicer and actually working. Found the little Moomins to be cute upon arrival but despise the Moomins after seeing them everywhere for 20 hours it quickly became a nightmare. This place shoves Moomins in your face nonstop. Hard to escape them, I felt like an inmate in Moominvalley State Prison. Leaving 2 ⭐ because most airport staff and lounge staff were friendly, helpful and professional and because of the meditation/prayer/yoga room which I found to be helpful because at least I could hide from Moomins quietly within my own thoughts. Thanks so much from Dallas, Texas for the...

Long-haul and European non-Schengen flights are operated from gates In 2014, Helsinki Airport introduced the world's first passenger tracking system, which automatically monitors crowd congestion and prevents bottlenecks at the airport. There are several airport hotels and office buildings on the grounds of the airport. The Aviapolis is a new international business park adjacent to the Helsinki airport area, already hosting the operations of numerous companies around the airport. If I will talk about the sitting area and waiting room the facilities are much better here. Even the washroom and airport is very clean and spacious. I had a halt of 9 hrs on this airport and rather than looking for a hotel we decided to wait on airport and used slanting chairs to sleep and It was very comfortable. There are lots of shops as well so if you want to buy any gift or souvenir for your friend and family, can buy from here. There are two sides of the airport one for Schengen and another one for non Schengen. While coming back from Dublin to India we got flight from nonschengen area where you don't have to go through security check again but while coming back from India to Dublin we had to depart from Schengen so passed through security check again on the airport. Journey through Finland...
