Pier Zero — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

I tried this place out instead of the Aspire lounge because of the Amex platinum Nordic benefit that gives you 2 alcoholic beverage, 1 Dish (either a starter or main course or soup or desert), 1 soft drink/water and 1 hot beverage. The pulled beef burger was really nice with a good selection of beverages. The seating is interesting overlooking the gate and is on a mezzanine floor. The service was not upto the mark, there was only one wait staff for the entire floor and so he will be rushing your order and might get some things wrong (which he did in my case).

Still, if you have only an hour to kill at the airport I would go here instead of the Aspire lounge. Just because of the better food. But If it's a bit longer I would still go to the lounge. Unlike the lounge there are no power outlets to juice up while you wait...

Honestly super pleasantly surprised! I came here as an Amex cardholder to wait for my flight, as i had missed my previous one, so I just wanted a lounge or a place to sit. Then i ordered some food, and i got the shrimp risotto. Actually not bad, and the plating was actually really cool. The view is also great, where you get to see som planes up close. Only thing is that they do not have a bathroom, and you need to exit the entire restaurant to access a bathroom outside. Otherwise...

While this isn't going to be your cheapest or fastest option, if you have some time to kill and wand excellent food (not just airport-quality) then definitely check out Pier Zero. Head upstairs for the best views and relaxed dining. I suggest the 3-course meal.
