We had a wonderful time here for the day on 23rd December. Luckily we booked through TUI so we're able to enjoy the outside area too where the husky dogs and reindeer were pulling sleds that we could ride. This is only available to TUI customers so I advise you book through them if you want the whole experience. Inside SantaPark you will find lots of very helpful English speaking elves that will help you find where ever it is you are looking to go. Father Christmas was a truly magical experience and we didn't have to wait inline long at all to see him. We then purchased a key shaped memory stick with 4 photographs on that we had taken with him for €32. The children decorated gingerbread cookies with Mrs Claus, visited the ice sculptures with the ice queen, watched an amazing elf acrobatics show and so much more. Outside we drank hot berry elf juice around a fire, went sledding down a snowy hill, we're taken for a thrilling husky ride, made snow angels and went on a magical sleigh ride pulled by real reindeer. When visiting make sure you wear thermal underwear, the minus 15 degree weather is chilly! You will be given the thermal one piece and snow boots before going outside and they cater for all sizes from 3 year old child to xxxl adult they also provide mittens if required but you must have your own hat. I also recommend a snood or scarf as they don't provide those either and it's cold on your face. You won't require much spending money here unless you are planning on buying loads of magnets, nick nacks or teddies from the gift store. We took €200 with us for the day and brought €130 back home after buying 2 reindeer soft toys, photos with Santa and some magnets. Along with drinks and food at the airport. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. It's a truly magical experience. We flew at 7am from Manchester, spent 5 hours here and then flew back. And it was the most magical day. We didn't need any longer there as we did and saw everything that we had wanted to. So if you're questioning whether or not you should take a day trip here via TUI airline. Then you...
Read moreAbsolutely amazing - really was a fantastic VEP experience that transported you into Santa's workshop/ home, the kids haven't stopped talking about it and telling family how they met Father Christmas at home, and what a fabulous time they had 😀 Thank you Santa Park, the VEP Package is a must on a visit, seamless and just WOW!!!
So from start to finish we felt special , we booked the VEP package and it is well worth it, you're treated like Very Elfish People and means you're not buying anything extra, everything is included, you get a lanyard and the Elves know everything is included and just makes the whole experience seamless, no queueing for Santa for us (and if there is then it's 5-10 if that as you have you own line), Gingerbread making drinks and chocolate lollies, decorating all included and just so easy - really enjoyable and Mrs Gingerbread came to see us to give us an extra special gift . We went on the train whoch rhe kids loved (ages 9 and 5), made crafts and went to Elf school which is cute, lits of laughs and we got certificates and Elf hats. Lunch was delicious (included with hot drink or juice) and then we got front row seats to the Elf Show, we went for a late lunch at 3ish and got a front row seat and enjoyed a leisurely lunch before the Elf Show at 4pm - was amazing. We visited on 22nd December, wasn't too busy, as Sunday and just the best day ever. Every chat with the Elves was magical and gave us an insight into Santa's home 😀 Would recommend, loved it. We arrived about 12pm and stayed till...
Read moreWe expected more. Best part was the small play area (angry birds) upstairs. Theres a few very overpriced souvenir shops. Ice room has sculptures and a small bar. €10 for a small alcoholic drink in an ice glass €5 for non alcoholic. Show in main central room, which is also the dining room for the buffet, show is 20 mins and is good. Buffet is very basic ....only a few options, €18/€12 adult/child. Visit santa in his office....can take own photos but if you want to buy theirs it is €32. Gingerbread decorating....€3 for a bisxuit to decorate with icing. Train ride, only a few minutes and more suited for under 7s. Arts/crafts -make a mini elf with a small piece of round slice wood and felt triangle for hat. Post office was lovely and quaint, bvery small room set up as a shop really for you to spend money. Elf school - goes through in 3 languages, so a little boring really... if it was done in 1 language it would last 5-10 minutes at most. Get a felt hat and diploma at the end though :-) Was ok, but at €121 we found a little pricey for what it was. Nice few hours though. We spent 3 hours and did everything. No winter wear needed, there are cloakrooms for leaving your things but not secure. Once you pay it is a 2 day ticket.... we were bored after 3 hours though. We don't regreat going aa was somethingwe wanted to do and we did enjoy it. Just don't expect to be entertained for more than...
