Plage de Jullouville — Local services in Avranches

Have visited in winter, June and July. Always clean, and great place to walk, either on beach or promenade. Parking is free and never been an issue. Beach shelves nicely so safe and watched by lifeguards in season. If you like swimming this is a great beach. Check the tides in advance as they do go out a long way. The course hippique was unique, trotting on the oval track occurs once a year in June.

Out of season the place gets quiet and most shops, bars etc close, but still worth coming for the peace and quiet, and those places that do remain open
