La Grande Maison was the local wine that made our trip to Monbazillac perfect. On our first day, they were selling their delicious wines at the Issigeac farmers market, and we enjoyed them at dinner that night with our family. On our last day, the family was gathering again, so we went to the winery, tasted the full range, and bought a few bottles again. The tasting was fabulous, and the setting, with an 800-year-old chateau set among the vines, was amazing.
