Booking in advance a space on an Aire de Camping car seemed a great idea. Received an invoice with confirmed payment and access code immediately. On arrival the access code would not work telling me there was a system error and to call back later. Contacting the call centre I was told that there was a problem with my payment although my bank statement showed payment had been taken but I had to pay again to gain entry to turn around and leave. The parking area is tidy with a working bourne at the far end bit situated under the flight path of the local airport and next to the motorway would have made for a very noisy stay. Needless to say this experience will teach us to avoid...

Like all the aires you have to have drinking water with you. We were grateful to find this aire open 24 hours as the ferry arrived later than advertised and disembarking took a while because of Brexit. Entering the aire can be a little tricky. Follow the instructions for payment (5 hours comes up but there is also a 24 hour option). Make sure your vehicle is close to the barrier. Present your QR code to the machine. Brilliant facility and very reasonable price at 13€ for 24hour including electric. Flat level Aire for motorhomes. Parking spaces were large, and big enough to park even a very large motorhome. There are 20 spaces each with electric hook up points. Facilities were all working well. Entry was little complicated but it was midnight and I had been traveling for about 4 hours so very tired.
