It is a small valley nestled in the Pays de Caux, between the alabaster cliffs. Between the banks of the Veules and the seafront, a village stretches out where Belle Époque villas rub shoulders with old half-timbered Norman houses. At first, painters and intellectuals from all over Europe stopped to visit Veules-les-Roses and eventually succumbed to its charms. You simply have to visit Veules-les-Roses! Stroll, stroll, stroll in this village which alone concentrates all the charm of Normandy. It is one of the most beautiful in France and one of the oldest in the region. It was built in a valley, a depression in the cliffs which gives access to the sea.
