Then a detour to get to the chateau, as they were dismantling a stage and seating area from a performance that had taken place, no clear directions in the chaos. Then we were approached and asked why had we not waited for an escort...no sign to say we had to??when we eventually got to the chateau entrance we were told that if any french people turn up then the tour will be done in french only, we would have a guidebook to read. 4 of us on the tour two were french so we had a guidebook to read. visite pendant les journées du patrimoine ce qui nous a permis de découvrir un château pas très loin de chez soi. 3/5 pour l'organisation des visites Vu le contexte " covid-19" et malheureusement la pluie qui s'était invitée ce jour-là revoir l'organisation. Protocole pour entrer dans château groupe de 20 personnes maximum je conçois, mais être serrés sous la pluie à plus de 20 personnes sans distanciation cela ne pose pas de soucis, chercher l'erreur! Alors que nous sommes sur le domaine privé du château donc soumis aux mêmes protocoles. Revoir l'amabilité de certains bénévoles genre que si on est pas content, il ne fallait pas venir etc ... ON EVITE! Par contre je vais finir par une note positive, magnifique château à l'intérieur, belles rénovations, beaux mobiliers, et on sentait les bénévoles investis à travers leurs explications. Nous sommes arrivés au château de terre neuve vers 14H30, ressortis à 17H30, pas eu le temps de visiter ni le musée, ni les jardins. Fermeture 18H. Conclusion prévoir une journée pour tout voir ou alors j'en reviens à mon point de départ revoir l'organisation. C'est...

Our tour was completely in French but the guide spoke a bit of English and said he would do his best to answer questions in English. There was a book in English saying much the same as the guide but you miss the jokes not...
