🏖️Bora Bora Lagoonarium 🏖️ Absolutely fabulous day trip. Great ambience whole day, English and French spoken and you get to see so many spots in one day. Corals, sharks, rays, turtles and even a pig. Definitely one of the best tour I have done in French Polynesia. And the lunch was super tasty too! It will be hard to beat this experience. Maururu!👍🏻 Fantastic adventure. The staff is knowledgeable and entertaining. What you'll see on the full day tour is all of the Bora Bora water highlights... sharks, rays, tropical fish in coral gardens. You will also be treated to a fantastic Polynesian lunch (can't stress enough how good it was) and some other fun on-land activities. Even though we've sailed to Bora Bora and have access to a dingy, this was a worthwhile adventure with people that know the best spots.❤️ We cannot recommend this tour enough!!! The moment you step on the outrigger, your journey begins with Max and his family entertaining you with island music. The first stop was an amazing area with beautiful coral reefs and tons of bright colored fish everywhere. They then found eagle rays that were, unfortunately, sleeping on the bottom but we at least got to see them. Then on to snorkeling with black tip sharks and large stingrays. Then, after painstakingly searching, they were able to find a group of huge manta rays for us to snorkel above which was absolutely breathtaking. These magnificent creatures are a sight to behold! Then on to a private motu (island) for a traditional Polynesian lunch and snorkeling with several large lemon sharks. We also learned how to tie sarongs on both men and women and learned how to properly and quickly open coconuts. And, while you’re on the island, don’t forget to ask about meeting Bacon, the Bora Bora chihuahua. This was an absolutely perfect day and this entire crew did everything in their power to make it as perfect as possible, from start to finish, for everyone on the tour. Make sure to bring plenty of water, sunscreen and any snacks you might need because this is a full day on...

Read moreI cannot recommend this tour company due to the treatment of the fish and overall safety concerns. I noticed that the staff -very discreetly- was feeding the tropical fish at the stops. Secondly at the private motu, the large lemon sharks are in a small fenced in area in the water.
The tour company was introduced by the hotel as a family business - which it is. We were collected by two pick-up trucks from the hotel and as a group of 10 were waiting for the boat to arrive. To our surprise the boat was already more than half occupied by a large tour group. They already had the best seats and overall, it was a very crowded experience. I rather would have picked a tour company which guarantees a small group size.
The staff was very enthusiastic to show the fish during the stops. Overall, we managed to see a lot of fish, which is obviously nice. On the stop to view the manta rays, the boat kept moving with the engine (propeller) running. I felt that is eventually an accident waiting to happen. The stops can get very crowded with multiple boats nearby. My partner almost went into the wrong boat. I doubt with the high number of people on our boat the staff would have noticed if one...
