We began with the boat trip which was lovely. Staff were very pleasant and it was good value for money. The island is beautiful and well worth a visit. The highlight for us was to be able to join the monastic community for Mass on Palm Sunday - quite a special day to visit with a lovely procession carrying palms through the cloisters. . The singing was profound and added to the spirituality of the place.The aroma of the scented incense added to the beauty of the Liturgy. After Mass we toured the island which is very historical and interesting. We ate our packed lunches at a picturesque spot at the edge of the Mediterranean sea. Our return boat trip was just as pleasant as the initial journey. Thanks to the Community for a truly inspirational and enjoyable day. Would love to return...
