This is a beautiful atypical beach, a hidden gem, that has a feel of a natural reserve, don't let the nearby industrial zone put you off. The hill scenery is wonderful, the water is clean and inviting, a bit chilly but not as could as some other Normand beaches. Unusual dark sand makes you think of volcanoes. There are two pretty decent restaurants and a fries/sausage/beer café. Weird, but very spacious parking (hint hint faster to park here then search for one in Le Havre)...
