Côte et Mer — Restaurant in Le Havre

This is a beach bar/restaurant with the expected menu (mussels, burgers, pizza, a couple of fish dishes). However, in its class it's among the best! Everything we ate (salmon, mussels, fish & chips, filet de bar) was very fresh and locally prepared...and very tasty. Also the french fries (in 99% of restaurants frozen tasteless things) were freshly cut and very tasty (thanks chef!). Added to that : great view on the falaises, excellent service and reasonable...

The personnel seems too busy to serve people. Despite a half empty restaurant when we had received half the order the waiter wanted to be paid immediately for the whole. We refused and he ostensibly left the rest waiting for 15mn on the side of the counter. We picked it up ourselves. Same flexibility to bring back the change. Avoid and prefer the other bar on...

Tombés sur ce restaurant par hasard, à cause d'un centre-ville d'Etretat bondé et inaccessible. Petit coin très sympathique et restaurant soigné. Plats copieux, bons marchés et surtout délicieux ! ( Les moules provençales sont à tomber ;-) ). Tout ça en face de la mer, possibilité de manger en terrasse. Le temps était en plus de la partie, c'est sans doute la raison du seul bémol de cet endroit... L'attente, qui est le point faible de ce resto (arrivés à 13h00, repartis à 15h30) car le personnel bien que très accueillant et souriant, est malheureusement surchargé : Il en résulte des oublis, des retards de commande. Mais tout cela est vite oublié lorsque les plats arrivent...
