The diving is world class. Visibility to 70m at least, crystal clear, very healthy reefs teeming with life. Reef Sharks, giant Wrasse, nudibranch, clown fish. Stories of whale calf coming in close too. Jeff and Junior (CPT) are fantastic, good English. Safe DM. great boat too, cut across the waves with ease (400hp). Reasonably priced dives as well. We organised prior to arriving by cruise ship. Get out first thing in the morning( just ask nicely) and walk your way up to the dive shop. Kitted out with good equipment and managed two dives with time to spare. Tanks had 300 bar too so we managed...

Highly recommend. Booked through Messenger/ FB, and they are nice friendly people and organised. (I read an old article years ago stating it wasn't that safe, but I didn't feel that way at all. When we had 70 bars left, the guide asked us to do safety stops, and I felt quite safe and relaxed with them.)

Patrice is awesome! Fantastic dives with 5 divers and great visibility and abundance of fish. We saw groups of sharks(20＋), lots of schools of fish, snakes, trevally, jack fish, nemos, disco scallops, giant fans, and lots of arches,...

I have done 200+ dives, this island has diving better than Asia or the Caribbean, just like the Red Sea! We swam through arches and caves, spotted sharks, a turtle, and the most incredible marine life I’ve seen in years. Wow, Lifou you’re truly a diver’s dream!
