The "Challenge of Caesar" is set on a grand scale. The impressive entrance is surrounded by Roman buildings and many Roman style decorations which are very nice to see. Special was to see a life-size catapult with which Roman soldiers can be quickly brought to the front. However, it is apparently not easy to test that in a secret room...

Tip: don't miss the soldier's handbook in the waiting queue, the various drawings show how genius Romans were in battle.

Inside the attraction we went through a succession of rooms, after an encouraging speech by Caesar we undergo the transformation to a Roman legionnaire and laughed a lot when we saw ourself walking by as a Roman soldier. Nice piece of animation and technology! Next, a visit to a Roman bathhouse with a water show and light effects to finally end up in the hold of a Roman ship. Soon the ship encounters Asterix and Obelix who on the outside rock the ship until it flips over several times. That ended the show we happily walk out again through the huge Roman temple as free persons.

A nice surprising attraction for anyone who can also handle the rocking of the ship. However, provided that all parts and animations are well maintained, because a lot can become defective and then the fun experience and storyline are gone. For that reason 5 stars because nothing...

Une attraction qui a tout perdu depuis que les autres salles ont été supprimés. C’est vieux, ça n’a plus rien d’impressionnant, ça a perdu tout son charme. Cependant, une étoile de plus parce qu’il n’y a personne, donc cela ne vous prendra que 10 minutes dans votre journée, alors si vous passez devant, pourquoi pas. L’attraction a perdu toute sa superbe. L animatronique de César et les salles de pré show ont disparu. On nous fait embarquer direct sur l attraction. Du coup il n’y a plus aucune histoire… Pendant le tour un des écrans était hs avec un message du type « erreur »… Je comprends mieux les 5min d attente sur la journée alors que les autres attractions...
