A small museum of two hangars that looks like it is expanding. Some large planes outside and exhibitions inside. One hangar is dedicated to space travel, there are many displays and a video to watch. Very interesting little air museum. Lots of model displays, and a huge section on space. I didn't even know France had a space program before I visited here. VERY hard to find, though; my satnav didn't believe the address existed, and google maps was decidedly unhelpful. Aim for the parachute school nearby, and go around the...

If you're a military / WWII buff, this place should not be missed, but very limited open hours. This airfield was occupied by the Nazis and later the US Army Air Force flew B17's out of here. After the war, it was home to French paratroopers. Knowledgeable veteran staff give tours but only in French. I thought this...

Composer de trois hangars, vous pourrez, grâce au travail de passionnés (re) découvrir l'épopée de la conquête spatiale, des débuts a aujourd'hui, beaucoup de documents, de maquettes mais aussi des vidéos, avec les avancés et découvertes de chaque période, et des explications sur les différentes personnes ayant joué un rôle. A l'extérieur vous pourrez voir mais aussi visiter deux avions, un noratlas et un transat, ainsi qu'un hélicoptère Sikorski, le tout avec de nombreuses explications. Le dernier hangar retrace l'histoire des lieux et présente d'autres avions. Un lieu a découvrir 👍
