My wife and I visited Kletterwald on a Saturday. The place is reachable from the Meinendorfer Weg U bahn station. The entrace to Kletterwald is just opposite to the U bahn station. One needs to walk a little inside to find it. We had bought tickets online, so at the shop, I just had to buy a pair of gloves (€3). They accept payments via card or Google Pay. A mask must be worn at the shop. They also provide a locker free of charge but with a €5 refundable deposit. There are portable toilets near the back of the park next to the car parking lot. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. They helped us wear the harness and gave us instructions. They also gave us the helmets. We didn't need to wear masks while doing the courses. They kindly showed us the way to course 1. We did courses 1, 2 and 4. Courses 3 and 5 were available only in the presence of an instructor. Course 1 and 2 have a zip line at the end. Course 4 does not have it; there's a simple wooden staircase at the end. Overall it was easy and doable. I struggled a bit on one of the bridges in course 4. It needed a lot of upper body strength. We finished course 4 and were too tired to go for course 6. We returned back to the shop area and returned our harnesses and helmets. We emptied our locker and bought some ice cream in the hot summer weather at the shop. We spent about 2 hours at the place. Overall it was a fun experience and we'd love to visit Kletterwald again!

Really cool park overall! You’ll need 2-3 hours including the briefing at the beginning to complete all routes. Some of the obstacles were a little repetitive, but each track has something special to it. I didn’t find any of the tracks very difficult to be honest, but I guess that’s subjective. Maybe they could also include an obstacle more targeted on arm strength, like a hanging one. Bathrooms available 150m from the “center” but they weren’t very clean.

I brought my 6, 8 and 9 year olds. Warm, sunny, dry day, perfect conditions. The smaller ones were eligible for and could handle the first 4 out of 8 stations and the 9 year old was allowed to and could manage the 6th. It is pretty well organised for getting you prepared with harness and safety rules. Then you are on your own for figuring out the first stations. Despite initial uncertainty, it's safe and easy to get the hang of. From station 3, there are instructors who check and correct your harness each time before doing stations 4-8. It was a fun and expansive experience for the children and I really enjoyed it too. We'll go again next year again on a sunny, warm day. I would not choose to go when wet or cold. Under the right conditions, I...
