We didn't find anything much to like about Kiel at all. We went with high hopes, they were dashed. It has a really skanky red light area, if you're into dubious clubs and bars this is just for you. I like a good area like this, it can be interesting and culturally informative, this wasn't one, this was just scabby. There's no mention of Kiel's wartime history, which is a shame. It is a two floors shopping mall which has supermarket, book stores, flower stores, toy store, boutique and shoes store. The washroom just being renewed, it is new and clean. However this mall offers not much choice for dining. Only a fake Asian restaurant , 3 cafes and McDonald's for proper meals. But it's a cozy place in residential area for family to spend a weekend.
