Go! It is gorgeous! The views and town below are picturesque. You get to the mountain but the cable car in town. Search "cable car". Also by searching the mountain. It will direct you to the town that has the cable car. The cable cargo is about every 30 minutes. The hike up to the top of the mountain took us about 40 minutes total. They also have a restaurant on top that wasn't open but does offer some small treats like ice creams, french fries, and hot dogs. The views are spectacular and I would definitely go again. When you're done with the hike, you can take the cable car back down and there is an open area where you can get into lake and enjoy nice cool swim after the long hike. If your adventurous there's other hikes you can also take from that cable car spot which are much longer. It would take a couple of hours. Or...

Read moreThis mountain is my favorite. You can go to the peak with many different paths. You can also go up by a cable car (round trip 15 euros) but you must walk another 40 minutes to the peak. They have a restaurant with lake view, super super nice. I didn't eat there so I can't tell if the food is good. The path under the cable car is the best so far for me but it is really steep with natural paths. You can hike up in winter and super nice in summer. I continued after the Herzogstand to Heimgarten, it took me about 1.5 to 2 hours. The path in between the mountains is not easy but they prepared well for hikers but you...
