Ein wirklich schöner und beeindruckender Bahnhof im Bauhaus - Stil, mit klaren Linien und weiten hohen Räumen, alles ist wohlstrukturiert und gut aufeinander abgestimmt. Auch die Geschichte des Bahnhofs als Verkehrsknotenpunkt des ehemaligen Bergbauzentrums ist dokumentiert. Daher wirkt er vielleicht auch für heutige Ansprüche etwas überdimensioniert. Was besonders angenehm auffällt, ist die allgemeine Sauberkeit in allen Bahnhofsteilen. Für den Reisebedarf sorgt ein kleiner Kiosk, der aber alles hat. Was mich begeistert ist, das keine dieser trostlosen US - Fressketten im Bahnhof zu finden ist, ohne die ja scheinbar sonst kein Hauptbahnhof mehr auskommt.
