Fort Coenraadsburg also known as Fort SĂŁo Tiago da Mina, located right across Elmina or George's Castle, is a fort built in 1652. It was built on the site of a fortified chapel, St. Jago, that the Portuguese had built but which was burned by the Dutch in 1637. This building is less visited than the Elmina Castle, but the view of the Elmina bay and Castle, from here is spectacular. Great photography point.
