My TaxiVan — Local services in Municipality of Chania

From the moment our Driver/Guide Theo picked us up at the port, he could not have been more helpful. We are traveling with my 78 year old mother who is not very mobile and he was very attentive to all her needs. He took us took us to a wonderful cafe on the banks of a lake and we ate a traditional Cretian breakfast. We then visited a tiny church in the mountains that had been cut out of the rock face followed by a wonderful tailor made tour of a family owned olive production plant where we tasted olive oil, local cheese and a variety of honey that they produce. It was so lovely to be the only customers rather than be on the big bus tour. We then went to the old town and had lunch at Ginger Concepts (some of the best food we have had since leaving the US the months ago) and then we walked around the old town instead of the wine tasting we had been offered. Theo was intent on making sure we had the best best day possible and his service and polite friendly personality could not have been faulted. We had a great day with Theo and My Taxi van and they take credit cards...

My family and I visited Crete in early summer. We had the fortunate and pleasant experience of meeting Jacob when transporting us from our villa to Chania city. Jacob was very responsive, he arrived on time as agreed and he charged a competitive rate. His vehicle was spotlessly clean, he was mannerly, courteous and helpful. On our trip to Chania Jacob was most friendly yet did not impose either. After this initial experience we then engaged Jacob several times for various journeys including our final journey to the airport for departure. I could not recommend Jacob highly enough. If you are seeking a larger vehicle, a genuinely decent human being then “is your man”! Five (5) stars...

I was on vacation with 4 friends, therefore we had to take a taxivan and I can highly recommend Jacob. He was on time, very friendly, always asking when we needed him to pick us up in order to organize his schedule. He met us half way when appointments collided or made sure we still get to our destination by organizing another vehicle, even when he could not pick us up. He never complained about anything, destinations that we wanted to get to, when the van was full of sand after picking us up from Elafonissi, always being in a good mood. It felt more like having a kind personal driver than him being...
