When visiting Thessaloniki (or more specifically Thermi) should be the top priority for every single person. Situated ideally on the road to Chalkidiki its contribution to the world of marketing is enormous. Nobody can describe it fair enough. It concludes a huge area of land in which countless shops are being hosted. From Armani to Zara the choices are multiple and enough to feel every single second with joy. When the person has finished its buying or window shopping session he can go to the second floor and enjoy a ton of goodies inside over 20 food selling stores. Including KFC, Goodys and Burger King. There also are option for : Chinese, Asian, Greek, Italian and French cuisine with the introduction of Gyros which is a Greek specialty. A miracle of gastronomy. For the evening the outer space is filled with, modern and not, cafeterias that can make you feel comfortable and closer to the youth than ever. The roads which lead to the m.c. are very narrow, like those years when the place was used for cultivating fields. The access was initially free, until they found more customers. After that they installed a parking system and imposed charging. Later the charging in the parking space was increased. And even if you find a distant parking seat the parking fee is the same. After parking your car and before reaching the mall they grab you from the face with music playing even at the outside premises. The volume of the music becomes even louder when you go inside. It is so tiring to listen to their music all the time above your head. They use music in order to affect the visitors' mood, so that they will spend more. They also use a fountain where people have the inexplicable habit to throw money, coins of course. The majority of the shops are expensive, as it is obvious to everybody. The food court is very large, but even so you will find it difficult finding a table to sit during rush hours. The place is sometimes so crowded that it may become difficult to walk and enjoy your visit. And of course large crowd means large microbe concentration on the air. The number of visitors can become even larger when tourist groups come with buses. The m.c. have signed contracts with tourist agencies to bring their customers there.
