After a few years of being on Rhodes at another station, I can definitely say, this is one of the best places for Kitesurfing on the island.

A nice beach (!), steady wind, shallow water at the entry with a sandbar a few meters from the shore (perfect for learning) and some nice waves. The water is choppy but still good and you will find some nice kickers for jumping. If you have trouble, you will get help immediately from the guys at the beach.

The station is very nice, with nice and friendly people working there and helping you. I would say it‘s a good mix of younger and older people from different countries and also familys. They have a large storage, sunbeds and hammocks at the beach under the trees. There’s a garden with a meadow, where you can prepare and pack your stuff. If you want to rent or try new stuff, you can get actual equipment from Flysurfer, Duotone and Levitaz. They also offer Foil- and Winglessons, if you want to learn something new.

Mike‘s Bar directly at the station is the icing on the cake. Nice Coffee, Frappé or juices in the morning and a cold beer after the session in the evening for the perfect sunset. There‘s also a small hotel, the Delfini, where you can stay and than it’s like from the bed to the beach and on the board…

Amazing Kitespot! The kiteschool is very well maintained. Every kiter can rent a storage for the kitestuff, use showers and toilets, will be helped with launching the kite and in case of difficulties the team will rescue you right away. All this for a super small fee. The team is super nice, and the atmosphere at the beach is super relaxing. Everyone, no matter what age is welcome and will have an amazing time there. I’ve never been to a Kitespot that well thought after, were everyone feels completely safe and every facility is super cleaned and nicely designed, so I think it’s just fair to pay a small...
