Trypiti Beach is a pleasant and well-kept spot with convenient access via a paved road. The beach itself is wide, clean, and covered with a mix of sand and pebbles. Even near the umbrellas and sunbeds, there is plenty of free space where you can comfortably lay down on your own mat. On the right side of the beach, there is a good place for fishing. If you bring raw shrimp, you will catch fish quite easily, but keep in mind that it also attracts a lot of wasps. There is a large free parking area nearby, which is very convenient. Unfortunately, there are no freshwater showers on the beach and no permanent toilets. For restrooms, you need to ask the nearby hotel. There is a small changing cabin available. The beach does have a ramp and a shower for people with disabilities, but sadly, they have not been functioning for a long time. Overall, Trypiti Beach is quiet, spacious, and practical, especially if you like a mix of relaxation and fishing, though some facilities...
Read moreHorrible pebbled beach, with big sharp rocks close to the shoreline, very low for the standards of a native.
The umbrella and the sunbeds were not included (an extra 5€ expense that most of the other beaches here don't even charge) with our coffee order which is a great negative on my scoring board.
We ordered a Greek frappé, which we had to send back since was mostly water and evaporated milk, the second one was slightly better than the first, but still nowhere close to tolerable.
I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. Try to avoid. Toilet is not accessible, far from the beach and the female toilet was locked that my partner was forced to used the male toilet even after asking the staff if the female toilet can be unlock and use but instead they just gave an excuse that they're out of order but there was no sign put up that it was...
Read moreProbably one of the most beautiful and interesting beach in Thassos. Let’s start with the water: crystal clear, with small rocks at the begining but shoes are not mandatory; and full of fish. The place is heaven for snorkeling! There is also a cave for snorkeling. The beach is also very nice with small rocks, same as Marble Beach, but all colours. It is not very crowded and there are lots of spaces for parking (free). We arrived around 10.30 and we found sunbeds in the first line, so this says a lot. A baldaquin is 35 Euros and you have 2 drinks included. There is service on the beach, very nice staff. A draft beer 500ml is 6 Euro. I recommend the Meltemi Tavern - not cheap, but very very good food, fast service and attentive people. We...
