Bükfürdő Thermal & Spa — Local services in Kőszegi járás

Fantastic experience enjoying the Thermal baths here! We visited in winter when the large outdoor funpark/strand portion is closed off, except for a few thermal/medicinal pools out in the snow. The rest of the indoor complex, which is huge, is fully functional in winter and summer.

A large part of the complex is specifically for medicinal and therapeutic benefits although, like us, anyone can enjoy the pleasure of soaking in the various baths. We were staying in one of the 2 connected Hotels, the Hotel Répce. You can go straight from your hotel room in your bathers and gown straight to the baths through the fully enclosed heated walkways, which is pretty cool when it's -10°C outside and snowing. Lockers are free, just put in a 100 Forint coin to get the key from the selected locker. The coin is returned when you unlock the locker. This great because the complex is so huge, you don't want to go back and forth to the hotel all the time. We could leave our wallets, phones, cameras, snacks and drinks etc, in the lockers, and access them when needed. There are several Cafés, restaurants and bars with tables and seating within the complex, so you can relax between baths. There is a children's area as well with several indoor waterslides. The inside area is large and complex and it's easy to get lost. We were there for 4 days and spent the first day just looking around and familiarising ourselves with the many many facilities with the provided maps. We were there in winter and apart from a couple of hot pools outside in the snow, the large landscaped park area with many many other attractions was closed. There is a very new, modern Spa and sauna area which is a strict "NO CLOTHING/NUDE" area for both sexes. Entry to this area is an additional cost to the main Spa area. Children are not permitted in this area. Entry to various parts of the complex is with rubber electronic wristbands issued when you pay. Unlike other spas in Hungary, these wristbands can't be used as a payment for food, drinks etc inside the complex. So make sure you have cash or cards with you when you go in! The attached hotels, (Hotel Répce Gold and Hotel Repce) both have their own spa and sauna areas in house. You can use either hotels spa/sauna area no matter which hotel you are in. The more basic, cheaper Hotel Répces Spa area is by far the better of the 2...

I'm deeply troubled and dismayed by the level of customer service at your front desk, and I must express my profound disappointment. Let me clarify why.

Today, on this rainy day in Bük, numerous guests, including myself, arrived drenched. To our astonishment, the handling of locker assignments in the changing room was appalling. The decision to cram everyone into the first row of lockers, numbers 1-32, was a complete disaster. This caused an uncomfortable and chaotic situation where guests, still in their wet shoes, were forced into close quarters, leaving the floor dangerously wet. Can you imagine how unpleasant and unsafe this felt?

Moreover, when we, a family of four, requested lockers next to each other, we were dismissively told that the computer allocations couldn't be changed. How can such inflexibility be acceptable? Your staff needs urgent training to offer a better, more adaptable service. Currently, the customer experience is absolutely abysmal.

And then there's the matter of the 500 HUF locker fee, which isn't refunded. In the past, a mere 100 HUF allowed us the convenience of choosing our locker, ensuring a peaceful and enjoyable experience for everyone. Why was this option removed? It seems like a clear downgrade in service.

Whoever conceived these changes clearly didn't consider the customer's perspective. It appears to be a strategy to increase profits with minimal effort, utterly disregarding the comfort and respect due to your guests. This is a blatant disrespect to all who come to Bükfürdő seeking relaxation and enjoyment.

I strongly urge you to reconsider these policies and offer a sincere apology to every visitor who has had the misfortune of experiencing such poor service at your...

Musím poopravit recenzi z předchozích let a bohužel negativně. Ubral jsem hvězdičky a dávám jen 3... Důvod? Je jasný - nesmyslná drahota na službách, zejména na jídle. Pozitiva: Je vidět, že se provozovatel o lázně stará a snaží se služby zlepšovat. Výdajový systém ve venkovním bistru je mnohem lepší než dříve. Objednává se pomocí dotykových obrazovek jako ve fastfoodových řetězcích. Je to poměrně rychlé. Ale vzhledem k množství lidí, kteří čekají na objednání, myslím, že 4 je málo. Klidně by ještě dvě mohli přidat. I tak to beru jako pozitivní zlepšení.. Lázně jsou čisté a udržované. Je znát i snaha opravovat rozbité zařízení. Vyžití pro děti - super. (Skákací hrad, tobogány venku i uvnitř, divoká voda) ... zde ale pozitiva končí Negativa: Jedno a to opravdu zásadní. Oproti minulému roku obrovské zdražení jídla a pití... Už to není únosné ani pro našince a to bylo maďarsko pro nás jednou s těch levnějších destinací. Bistro1 uvnitř lázní z mého pohledu tragédie. Personál se tváří že ho opravdu otravujete s tím, že něco chcete, porce jídla sotva pro děti a za cenu dospělé porce. (Naběračka guláše s malou porcí halušek 3900HUF). Venku je výběr lepší ale ceny stejně přestřelené. Pitný režim je nemyslitelný. To se vyplatí si skočit předem do COOPu a koupit si nějakou tu limonádu nebo pivo sebou. Cena je tam méně než třetinová. Pokud sem někdo jede na dva dny, tak to skousne, ale pokud přijedete na týden i s rodinou, tak jen stravování atakuje cenu dovolené all inclusiv někde u moře... Bohužel jsme tu nejspíš naposledy, protože tady je ten tah na rychlý výdělek neskutečně rostoucí. Byla tu spousta čechů, řekl bych že drtivá většina všech návštěvníků a s kým jsme se bavili, tak říkal v podstatě to samé. Příliš draho a člověk nemá důvod se sem vracet....

Kdysi jsem dal 5 Hvězdiček a tuto recenzi, dnes už je to trošku jinak: I přes to, že Maďarsko oplývá spoustou lázní, tak tyhle jsou ty, kam se člověk vrátí rád a opakovaně. Neustále se zdokonalují a rozšiřují. Velkou výhodou oproti ostatním lázním je přilehlý thermal camp. V ceně kempovného je neomezený vstup do lázní a kemp je velmi dobře udržovaný. V lázních je vyžití jak pro dospělé tak pro děti. Při naší poslední návštěvě bylo v provozu všech 32 bazénů. Jsou jak léčebné tak i zážitkové. Do těch léčebných není doporučen vstup dětem pod 14 let. My se sem vracíme každý rok už od roku 2019.... Vřele doporučuji, zvlášť těm, kteří to spojí s kempováním... Takový zážitek 2v1 ......................

Kemp je teď už potřeba hodnotit samostatně a ne ve spojení s lázněmi. Kemp zatím ještě funguje dobře a spokojenost je na 5...
